We recently took a family trip to our local farm, where we filled 5 cartons with hand picked strawberries. One of my favorite flavor combinations is strawberries with chocolate, there’s nothing quite like it! So I decided to prepare a simple strawberry pie filling, drizzle it with chocolate sauce, sprinkle it with graham cracker crumbs, and serve it in a graham cracker crust. I made 2 versions, a large pie with a homemade crust and mini pies with store bought crusts.
The filling is sweet and juicy with a hint of citrus and the chocolate sauce adds that rich, creamy taste we all love. The graham crumbs and crust provide the perfect crumbly texture and you can even add a fresh whipped topping for that extra pop!
Strawberry Chocolate Graham Cups
Homemade Graham Crust:
1 1/3 C Graham Cracker Crumbs
1/4 C Sugar
1/2 C Butter, Melted
Combine crumbs and sugar. Add butter and stir until combined. Press into a 9 inch pie dish or small cups for mini pies. Refrigerate 1 hour or until set. You can also purchase store bought graham crusts to save some time.
Strawberry Pie Filling:
I used this Strawberry Pie Filling recipe by fotoe!78 from allrecipes.
1/3 C Cocoa
1 C Sugar
1 Stick Butter
1 Tsp Vanilla
1/4 C Milk
Mix Cocoa and Sugar, add remaining ingredients to saucepan, boil 1 minute. Set aside to cool.
Fill your crusts with the filling, drizzle 1/4 C chocolate sauce over evenly. Just before serving sprinkle graham cracker crumbs and add a dollop of whipped cream.

Tip: For a larger pie, I’d suggest freezing for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
