For a large cut of meat, tri-tip might just be the best bang for your buck and the possibilities are endless when it comes to seasonings, marinades, and preparation. My family usually prepares it one of three ways: in our rotisserie oven, slow cooker, or the old fashioned way… over the flames of an open grill.
No matter what your style of preparation, you’ll love this marinade…. it’s savory with an Asian punch. The meat soaks up the sauce like a sponge, locking in all those delicious juices. Try marinating overnight for even more flavor.
Enjoy this simple, family favorite recipe of ours!
Some helpful tips:
I recently upgraded my slow cooker to accommodate larger ingredients like these. After some research I purchased this Hamilton Beach 8-Quart Crock Pot on Amazon. It’s the perfect size for slow cooking large cuts of protein, or for preparing larger batches of your favorite recipes. I use it at least 2-3 times a week and love it!We also use our Ronco Showtime Rotisserie Oven multiple times a week. It’s constant rotation allows the meat to self-baste and create that perfect sear all the way around… so delicious! It also comes with accessories like handling gloves, a drip tray, and a multipurpose basket (which we use for veggies).
