I love cooking creatively for my family and it’s even better when I can sneak in some healthy nutrition! I hope you and your family enjoy this recipe, and might I suggest you involve them in the preparation? Let your little one dump the ingredients in the saucepan, or enroll your spouse in rolling the balls. Take a “bite” out of family time while you’re at it!

mmmhh. That looks so delicious! I always do my own twist on these energy balls as they are my healthy sweet saviors…I am such a sweet tooth lol.
I am a bit conscious when it comes to processed sugars, that is why I love to sweeten with either ripe bananas or unsweetened organic apple sauce.
Thanks Claudia for those great suggestions! I am going to try bananas or applesauce next time!
Claudia, we already ran out of bites so I made another batch last night with banana and they are so delicious! Thanks for the tip!
That is so nice to hear 🙂 I am glad you enjoyed using the bananas.
Mmmhh, I have a few ripe bananas here – so I might do some as well.
xx
Beautiful pictures! My mom used to always make them for an energy type snack! They’re so yummy!!!!
